Fun at the playground and with Gammie

One place Elijah loves to spend time at is our neighborhood playgrounds. We have several throughout our family friendly community. We even have one behind our house so our ritual is to check the mail and watch Elijah sprint to the playground while I chase him in my work clothes. Nothing like getting wood chips in a good pair of pumps:-)

Every night Elijah makes his way into Gammie's room for some jumping on her bed. Elijah loves telling Gammie all about his day while she listens intently as he jabbers away. I guess Mother is use to this considering the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree . . . I guess I groomed her ears from all my childhood chattering . . . OK and current chattering:-)

The other night Mother had the pleasure of sleeping with a rather large horse in her room that Elijah insisted that he park by her bed. Luckily Mother didn't trip over the darn thing and break a hip:-) We will all miss Mother dearly as the time is drawing near to her moving but the good news is she is all of 20 minutes away!
