Halloween Super Hero Style

What a great night we had on Halloween. The weather was nice and boy does our neighborhood go all out for the night. We have block harvest parties with moon bounces, food, and lots of candy for all the children to enjoy. We all bundle up with fire pits a roaring and a few neighbors even splurged for the big heating lamps. One thing is for sure we all enjoy watching the children parade through the neighborhood all dressed up for the night with one thing in mind . . . CANDY!!!

John took Batman out with his little friend Tara who was a princess and I stayed on our block with the rest of the neighbors manning the candy booth with superman (Eben:-)! Well Superman fell asleep and I bundled him up and we didn't hear a peep from him. What a wonderful night with great neighbors and spooky, cute, adorable kids!

This is Elijah October 2005 as Superman. Poor Eben will never get to pick out his own costume.
Our boys look alot alike:-)

Our Two Boys . . .

It seems like forever since I've been on here. Life just seems to get in the way with so much to do and so little time for fun stuff like this. Here is a few pictures of our boys.

What a blessing God bestows upon each of us when he allows us to be parents. We have been blessed with two beautiful boys that I cherish watching each day grow up loving one another as brothers. Elijah is Eben's protector and has even told John and I how to take care of his little brother. He has taken on the role of being a big brother in stride. He truly LOVES his little brother and I pray this bond only grows stronger each day.

Elijah is getting taller by the day. He loves going to school, playing with super heros, and his cousins (Fletchie in particular who he spends lots of time with) for we have made a pact as a family to raise our boys not as cousins but as brothers.

Elijah's Stats at 3.5 Years Old
41 inches tall
30 Pounds - Finally he weighs thirty pounds:-)

Eben is half Elijah's weight at 5 Months and weighs 15 Pounds.

We were blessed to have Grandma Plews come and visit Eben. This was so important to us because with my Mom passing our sons have one set of grandparents and we want to make sure they get to spend lots of time with them - as much as possible with the distance issue.

Get Loved by Uncle Chris & Aunt Libby

John and I enjoyed a weekend away while the boys got SPOILED at Uncle Chris and Aunt Libby's house. Here is Eben taking a spa bath:-)

Elijah watching cartoons on the flat screen, a tub full of toys while drinking juice. Eli was back to reality when he came home:-) Sure we have juice and some toys but no flat screen in our bathroom over the tub.
Elijah LOVES spending time at Fletchie's house with his Aunt Libby and Uncle Chris!
Flexing muscles with Uncle Chris. As Daddy calls them - showing some PIPES!!!

Fletchie showing Eben the rules of the road when it comes to playing with cars. Fletchie loves his little cousin Eben for sure.
