Harvest Fun . . .

Elijah was so EXCITED to have his cousin over for the weekend! He even insisted that his shirt match Fletchie's as he affectionatly calls him:-)!

Ring around the Rosie was the game of the night. We are blessed with a wonderful neighbor We enjoy having our monthly Friday night Pizza together.

To Cox Farm we went to visit the much anticipated Pumpkin Patch. The boys were so EXCITED by all the wonderful slides and activities! Here is Fletcher going down the slide.

This is the hay stack that Daddy encouraged Elijah to jump off of . . . only Elijah landed head first into a pile of hay with a bloody nose. Well that didn't turn out quite right:-) Our little guy is a trooper! Daddy loved him up and he was all better! Elijah was quick to let everyone at our family dinner know that Daddy made him fall on his head:-)

Fun at the Circus

To the Circus we went with Elijah's favorite little buddy from school Joseph. I was feeling a tad anxious with the show being 2.5 hours long and if Elijah was going to enjoy it or not. To my surprise or perhaps God answered my prayer - Eli had a WONDERFUL time and sat for the entire show! He loved the live music! He was bopping his head to beat and full of laughter at all the different skits!

God surely did bless me with a wonderful husband who loves to have a clean house. Well this is rubbing off on our son. When Daddy cleans he always has a helper. Elijah loves to help Daddy clean - it's the cutest thing! Elijah is quick to point out if anything is dirty. The bad thing is if we are visiting someone and he points out dust. . .from the mouth of inocent babes!

Summer Fun . . .

Months have passed and I've finally gotten around to updating the blog. Here is just a small glimpse into some summer fun. Elijah is in pre-school now and LOVES it. He has two little friends - Jonathon aka Scooter and Joseph. They are the best of friends!

His all time favorite is his cousin Fletcher the mere mention of his name sends him over the moon. He so enjoys going to see his Gammie, Uncle Chris, Aunt Libby, and FLETCHER. With them moving from Maryland to Virginia has made family gatherings a weekly often times daily event filled with lots of love and laughter for all! Elijah is a sweet little boy who loves to laugh and chatter. He enjoys helping do chores especially with cleaning the house with Daddy. We shall see how long this lasts:-) We enjoy dancing in the living room and laugh at him rocking his head to the beat.

It's amazing to see what a little boy Elijah has turned into . . . we no longer have a baby but a little boy! Elijah's favorite words . . . "I can do" and "Be Nice"

Fun at the pool this summer. Our neighborhood has the best pools to enjoy family fun. We are blessed to live in such a wonderful family centered community with great neighbors!

The boys after a day of fun chilling out in my tub. The tub that I said I would use all the time when we were building our place. I can count on one hand how often I've been in that tub - go figure. This is Elijah's tub:-)

Sesame Street Fun . . .

What we will do for our children . . . riding in a tea cup:-) We had such a great time at Sesame Street. A great place to take a toddler for sure! Here is a glimpse into some more summer fun.
