Happy Thanksgiving

What a Blessed Thanksgiving we had together. We enjoyed great fellowship and delicious food!
Libby and Chris hosted the festivities this year. A short drive and we arrived to a wonderful family event with lots of love, laughter and of course great food!

The ladies together.

Mom relaxing after dinner.

Annette striking a pose.

Elijah with his cousin Fletcher.

Last year we didn't even put up a tree but we had to this year for our favorite little guy. Elijah loves Christmas lights! Gammie came over and while Elijah was taking a nap we put up the tree. The look on his face was PRICELESS!!:-)

Our Annual Trip to Skyline Drive . . .

Fall just wouldn't be Fall if we didn't take our annual trip to Skyline Drive. To eat apples, stop in and visit old friends, and enjoy the beauty of God's Grace!

When John saw this picture from last years trip he summed it up nicely . . . Honey, Eli got bigger and you got smaller:-)

It was just a tad windy on the trip but that didn't stop us from having fun!

Dad you are NUMBER ONE in my book!

A few pictures of Elijah before we left the house for church. Love the hat:-)

Elijah checking out a book from Auntie Kathy. I don't know who loves this book more John or Elijah.

Fun with Elijah . . .

What a smile. Here is our little guy giving a big smile for the camera.

Elijah pulling around his leap frog.

If only Mr. Leap Frog could speak perhaps he would tell Elijah to get OFF of him and find somewhere else to sit!:-)

Daddy reading Elijah his favorite book. Aunt Annette gave Elijah an entire library of books and this is his favorite! Although the title is called Good Night Baby we read this book all the time because Elijah will bring it to us and sit down for us to read it to him. He loves books!

John and I are avid readers and something tells us from the looks of this Elijah might just follow in our foot steps.

Playing with Elijah

We had curtains made for our living room and Elijah was instantly drawn to them. I tried to discourage him from messing with them and finally I just gave up. So here is our little guy doing what he loves doing best . . . hiding behind Mommy's curtains:-)

I wonder where Elijah is . . .

He quickly pushes the curtains aside and says Peak a Boo!!!

Elijah loves coloring! If he sees us writing we have to give him a piece of paper and something to write with because he loves drawing. He makes the best scribble in the whole wide world . . . just beautiful . . . artistic strokes. Must take it after his Grandma Plews!

Elijah hanging out in his cousin Fletcher's new digs. He enjoys going over to Uncle Chris and Aunt Libby's house to see his Gammie and play with Fletcher . . . Fun Fun Fun!!!
