Elijah Turns 8 Months

It's truly amazing to see the development as the months go by. Elijah is an amazing (so his parents think:-) little boy. He has a great personality and is quick to smile at anyone who looks his way. He laughs all the time - even at John's silly antics to make him laugh (like dancing)! Elijah is now pulling up and cruising our furniture and we know walking is in his near future. He is content to cruising our furniture and playing with his toys. Gone are the days we could hold him for hours because he now pushes his way out of our arms to go play. It's amazing to watch the progression of independence and thirst to explore and learn. We love playing with Elijah and can make him belly laugh which brings me tears of joy to hear - it's like angels singing here on earth. We thank God for his life and for choosing us to be his parents!

Fletcher comes to visit

Elijah's cousin Fletcher came to visit and boy didn't we have fun fun fun . . .

It is our prayer that Elijah and Fletcher who are 6 months apart will grow up like brothers. So we kicked the bonding off with Fletcher coming over to stay. We had such a wonderful time taking care of our nephew - he is such a sweet baby boy!

Grandma Plews and Denny Visit . . .

Grandma Plews and Denny came down for a visit on the way to Florida for the winter. Elijah had a great time getting loved up by his grandma. Eli is still fascinated with Denny and loves checking him out and laughs when Denny smiles at him.

We went out to dinner in our new neighborhood restaraunt Glory Days. We had a great time and Elijah sure did attract alot of attention. He even got Kudos at the end of the night for being such a good baby.


Elijah loves to go out and enjoys looking at everything.

Someone has a new little tooth

Well after buckets of drool a little pearly tooth appeared on Friday, January 6, 2006. His first little fang:-)















Eli is also now taking a bath in the big boy tub. Goodbye baby tub! He loves bath time with his little ducky!

Elijah's First Christmas

We had a very special Christmas this year because we celebrated with Elijah - his first Christmas. Time got by us and although we didn't put up much decorations in our home we sure did get in the Christmas spirit when we arrived in NY!

We had a really special Christmas in Upstate NY and even got to see some snow!
